A view of the western half of the Castle in the Clouds property in the Ossipees. Perhaps the grandest view of Winnipesaukee can be had from the Mt Roberts Trail, which starts just behind the field shown near the center of the photo and goes first to the Ledgewood cliff, which provides a lake panorama, and then follows the ridgeline of Roberts Ridge to the summit - from the ridgeline several excellent views of Winnipesaukee and the Lakes Region are seen, and at the summit the view is to the north of many of the grandest peaks of the White Mountains, including Mt Washington.
