Conner Pond is a small pond near the middle of the Ossipee Range. The summit of Bayle Mt is less than a mile from the westerly shore of the pond. This shot was taken from near the summit of the mountain. Just beyond the pond is small Knox Mt, also of the Ossipee Range - to the right of its summit is little Moody Pond. In the upper left corner is Green Mt, with the eastern part of Ossipee Lake lying just below it. In the past Conner Pond has been considered a premier trout fishing pond by avid anglers - it is stocked annually today, but I don't know what its reputation as a prime fishing site might be now.
