Sandwich Dome, sometimes called Sandwich Mt, is one of the most dominant landscape features of the Lakes Region when one looks to the north - it is easily visible from many places on Winnipesaukee. At 3900 feet, it rises above its neighbors, and it is an unusually massive mountain as regards the area of its base, so it occupies a large portion of the viewscape. Here we see it, a little later than normal, with its winter face showing. This view of it is from Wentworth Hill in Sandwich.
