I have recently acquired a 1936 first edition, hardcover copy of Three Centuries on Winnipesaukee by Paul Blaisdell. (Excellent book!)
This map was a wonderful surprise and was not in my 1975 soft cover reprint of the same book.

Pretty interesting ! I see that Bizer was not the first to include some funny comments on a chart of the lake. Do you know when this chart was drawn ? I might guess, given the name in the bottom left corner, that it was included in the orginal publication.

Rattlesnake Girl--- If my memory serves me correctly, at one time, this map was printed on placemats at Dockside in Woleboro. I haven't been able to locate my 1936 copy to check, (so much for memory!), but I belteve it is in there.
