Piper Mt fills the background of the picture -in the center of the photo, nearly invisible since it blends into the lower slopes of Piper, is Swett Mt. And across the bottom lies Guinea Ridge, showing a recently built home (several years ago) that now accompanies several large farm sites that were built along the ridgeline on the Guinea Ridge Rd a couple of centuries or more ago. The open ledgy spots on Piper and Swett provide grand views, and a number of my postings have been of scenes shot from these ledges. Trails lead to both, but the Piper ledges are more often visited than those of Swett.
