Lake Eileen is the center of activity at the Hidden Valley Scout Reservation in Gilmanton. Here we see Swett Mt in the midground, and also, in the background, the expansive open ledges at the southernmost section of the summit of Piper Mt, where a 180 degree panorama to the south, west and east may be enjoyed. Trails which start from the Belknap Mt Carriage Road, or from the end of the Belknap Mt Road, can lead hikers to those exceptional views, or on to the summit of Swett, where there are also good views.
