Looking from close to the top of Falls of Song as it begins its near-vertical 50-foot drop to the bottom of the gorge below. You can see part of the long boardwalk below which is designed to give folks taking the Castle in the Clouds tour a safe way to get to the base of the falls where they can better see the falls in action. If large volumes of water are coming over the falls, standing at the observation deck near the falls can get one quite damp as great amounts of spray and mist can fill the air where the falls strikes the large pool that has been created by the action of 10,000+ years of pounding water striking the ground below.
