In recent years Straightback Mt has become a more popular peak for hikers to seek out. It is only a short distance west of the summit of Mt Major. This photo shows the view to the west from the summit of Straightback. Labels at the top name mountains on the horizon; labels below name mountains a little below the horizon, and usually a little closer to the viewing point.
