Hey Rose, Is that date the visualization date or the date they posted the image. Lake Wentworth has much more ice in this image than people are reporting.. Could you send the link for the image.. I could not find it.

Google World also has great space shots of the Lakes Region, and you can zoom in on all of the islands and such.

It was acquired 3/27/06 at 1545 UTC, so that would be 10:45 our time. If you click on the 250-m alternate pixel size link, you can scroll around the high-res image and find the lake.
