A view over Rattlesnake Island to Mt Washington, seen between Mt Shaw and Faraway Mt of the Ossipees. To Shaw's right, just to the left of Mt Flagg, you can see a bit of the summit of Carter Dome, which, at 4832 ft, is NH's tallest mountain to the east of Washington. They both are about 50 miles from the summit of Major.
