A view easterly across Squam Lake. The Crawford-Ridgepole Trail travels from The Sandwich Notch Road (in the small mountain gap at the far right) to Cotton Mt all the way across the spine of this range. Not a lot of people hike the entire trail, but Mt Morgan and Mt Percival, in the center of the photo, have open spots at their summits which provide grand views and are very popular hiking destinations, so they have relatively short, much-used hiking trails leading conveniently to them from Rte 113 in Holderness.
