Another, closer, look at the ice of Lake Winnisquam. Here it appears that what looked like open water from Piper a few days ago now is mostly recently formed ice with a few remaining small areas of open water. Opechee Bay and much of the city of Laconia are visible in the shot. Of the many hills and mountains seen, the most notable are Cardigan at the far left and Moosilauke at the far right.
