The path into the Cliffs of Rand, made by the rock climbers who use the cliffs to fullfill their passion to scale the vertical (and worse) face of the cliff (they have left a good deal of their hardware on numerous routes that they have made in their daredevil enthusiasm) passes under an arch made over the millennia as parts of the cliff peel off and fall to the slope below - in this case they randomly positioned themselves to make an arch that accomodates the easiest path over this part of the trip in. Anyone over 6 ft needs to duck under the low section of the arch at the far end, but the front end will probably accomodate a 7 footer. Note the rock cairn that the climbers made beside the trail.
