This is a set of rapids seen on Shannon Brook, just a few hundred yards below the 50 ft Falls of Song. In the upper left corner you can see a fence, which serves as a guard rail where the path into Falls of Song is squeezed between a steep slope of Lee Mt, on which the castle sits, and a steep bank leading down to the brook. Also at the upper left corner area of the photo, the brook makes a sharp turn away from the path and passes over a section of descending rough ledge, which churns the water up to form these rapids.
