Straightback Mt lies immediately west of Mt Major in the Belknaps. It has a fairly flat summit that once was a large blueberry pasture - that was long ago abandoned and the summit is now slowly growing up, but the summit has quite a bit of ledge which enables it to resist the rapid growth of trees. There are several fine viewsites at the summit - this one shows the view north; views in nearly all directions can be found with a little searching.
