An excerpt from yesterday's posting, isolating the barn and its outbuildings. Not many of NH's upland farms can have had barns 4 storeys high - and still maintained in top-notch condition. Except for the two trucks shown, this could be a scene from the 1850's; note the several species of farm animals in the lower barnyard - horses, cows, sheep, and what may be a couple of hogs (a barnyard scene reminiscent of that past era). In today's world, one might reasonably assume that this is a 'gentleman's farm'.
