Mt Livermore is near the SW shore of Squam Lake. An outlook at the summit provides this view across Squam Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee to the Belknap Range. The largest mountain on the horizon is a blending of Gunstock Mt and Mt Belknap. From this angle we see mostly Gunstock at the lower elevations, with the top of Belknap peeking up behind it. The next largest Belknap Range mountain, to the immediate right, is Piper Mt, the range's 3rd highest mountain. The range's best-known mountain, Mt Major, is the relatively small one seen at the far left of the range.
