Looking west from the center of the Ossipee Range to Black Snout on the range's western rim. From the south, the way it's seen from Winnipesaukee, Black Snout has a distinctive 'snout-like' profile and rises sharply into view, but from this angle it has a rather nondescript appearance. At 2689' it is one of the tallest peaks in the range, but doesn't look particularly impressive from this angle.
