The Breeze, At The Camp

Description: On a hill above Paugus Bay, the Breeze was there as well as a very cool breeze so as to keep a very comfortable coolness, no air conditioning ever needed. However, her ears would perk up whenever she heard the loons nesting nearby! The Breeze still romps there, to this very day!

Description: All of the people on Edwards St. put on a big block party every year, for the children and visiters alike, with home made goodies and hot drinks. Santa rides in on a LFD hook and ladder and LPD blue light escourt. And of course santa sits down and asks the children, one by one what they would like for Christmas. It is a fun time for everyone!!

Description: I have been trying to find out more about this news article, my Dad on the left. My Dad was drafted into the Army, when the second world war broke out. By this time,... Mom and Dad had seven children and it grew to 10 children. 1943-1944. The Army did not want to put my Dad on the front line, in harms way,.... so,.... as Senior Transportation Analyst for the Army, was loaned to the Transportation Corps of U.S. Army to make a survey from Central America from, Tapachula, Mexico- the end of the standard gauge railroad- to the Panama Canal, for purpose of setting up convoy operations for transport of vital materials to C. Z. Entailed conducting access road surveys from port facilities to points of break over and supply depots on the Pan- American Highway Progect, then being built by the Corps of Engineers. Complete report made to the Army, classified secret at that time;..... I wanted so much to ask our late Mr. Emerson of this photo of my Dad to see if he had any information to further my quest to learn about our past.
