Thank you so much for the info! We have been coming to Gilford for over 30 years and only 1 time did I see a Moose at night on the Alton Gilford line. We usually go to Pittsburg - Moose Alley to catch a glimpse! What time of day did you see them? Where is the Snowmobile Museum???? Would love to catch a glimpse a bit closer to home! Again thanks for the great picture and I'm sooooooo jelly!

Also, there were two huge bull moose I've seen on the trails down through Gilmanton, on our way to the Snowmobile Museum...

Hi Maria, Oh I've seen tons and tons O moose on the trails, in restricted lighting, cloudy and after dark while riding. This was over in Tamworth, NH. Thank you for your comment. Terry

Awesome photo, and the replies to it. Pretty rare photo when you consider the "Mount" probably only looked like this for a short amount of time.

Nice looking boat! Several companies manufactured boats of this type in the fifties. Penn Yan of course was probably the best known, but Thompson, Sebago, and Wolverine also built them. The last two are pretty rare these days. I see that you have the original Evenrude controls.
