Default Yamaha Boat Service Recommendation

Can someone please recommend a mechanic/marina to service my Yamaha AR195 boat? The only suggestions I have received are Irwin Marine in Laconia. I actually purchased the boat from Irwin in 2019 but it's out of warranty and I was told I am not a current customer. I store the boat in my garage and haven't used it in 3 years. I just need a routine service but cannot find anywhere else that services Yamaha boats. HK Powersports and DaSilva don't have computer for boats, only personal watercraft. Thank you.

Bump.
I have a yamaha jet boat as well, but can't find anyone except for Irwin marine to service it. I didn't buy the boat from Irwin so they're in no hurry to take it in.

Default Dave's?

Dave's Motorboat Shoppe in Gilford is/was a Yamaha dealer. A family member uses them for their OB. Name and owner has changed; don't know if there is a difference between OB and jet boat.
Disappointed in Irwin of late, but I know they, and others, have had difficulty finding qualified techs. Be sure to post here when you find a solution.

Call Jeff. How's the Yamaha jet boat repair moving along? Did you ever call Jeff?

Just call Jeff and he shows up in a big white van, all very organized, and Jeff will fix it. I guarantee it!

Better call Jeff.

Unfortunately the boats and outboard motors are a different animal. Irwin is the only game in town and their service dept is a disappointment. The next closest is Long Lake in Naples, Maine. The fact that it was purchased there and they won’t work with the OP is BS.

Its a huge problem. I bought the boat out of state and made sure to check with Irwin before I did to ensure they would cover any warranty work (it's a 2022 and still has a few years of coverage). They told me they would cover the warranty, which has since proven to be misleading.

If I had known they wouldn't even bother to cover the warranty a different type of boat. I'm kinda pissed about this whole thing.

the factory usually does not allow a dealer to "opt out" of covering a customer's warranty as a condition of being an authorized dealer. Has anyone approached Yamaha directly? You certainly would not go to the top of the priority list, but I am surprised they can flat out refuse... Also - I notice that DaSilva Motorsports in M'boro is a Yamaha dealer. If your boat is trailerable, perhaps that is an option...

They are a Yamaha outboard dealer, jet boats and PWC are a completely different beast. They are not a PWC/jet boat dealer.

Just about every marina on the lake does Yamaha outboards.

Give me a call 603-556-0993 Johnston’s mobile marine service. I used to work at and rig these for Irwin’s.

Yup. Has been an issue the last few summers. Most marines only service and store what they sell.
