Today's snow , Wed Jan 18
Could someone local in theLakes region report on how much snow you are getting. Thinking of making the trip to snowmobile tomorrow (Thursday). The news reports vary so much.
Thanks! |

we got robbed!
Call it a heavy dusting. Some of Moultonboro's snowmobile trails are closed.
Update: I just heard that in the higher elevations around Center Harbor, there was 4" - so let's call it variable - 1/2 to 4"

3-4 inches of heavy wet snow along the "D" trail, a half mile off the lake and a half mile outside the Sandy Point area.
Update: now later in the day and just got back from a snowshoe walk on the D trail along Rand Hill Rd in Alton Bay, and the 3.5 inches is self compacted to about 2 inches. Drive with care on the trails right now, from my short exposure, the trails can be quite fragile. Sent from my GT-P5210 using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app

We're on New Durham ridge at 1000 ft. Looked like 5-6 inches around 7 this morning.
