Ya I was thinking the same thing when I watched the video.
More power to you. Also glad to see that you were prepared, wet suit and life jacket. Although I would have worn a dry suit.

11mm of wetsuit on core, 8 on upper extremities, 3 on lower..... I could have been in the water for a few hours..... and i had people standing by watching in case something went wrong. Barely noticed the cold. face was a bit cold in the air, and thats it.

A question
Wetbiker: question: Do wetbikes have a kill switch like jetski's do? If not, what would happen if you fell off while riding? thanks

and if both of those fails and the throttle gets stuck open?..... well then the wetbike will do a wheelie in circles around you.... and yes i've had that happen a few times.

Back in the day
Many many years ago a group of us decided to ride the channel on our standups well after ice in. We lasted about 15 minutes....completely nuts...welcome to the club. :-)

Well, if any day would justify the 40 dollar sticker, that would have been the day.
It gets expensive with the increased price. 40$ per jetski, and i may go through 10 different hulls/ski's in a year.....between all the different types.... buying and selling.
