Ice on Winni?
It appears Wolfeboro Bay is wide open again. I was last in the area around 12/18 and South Wolfeboro Bay (the easternmost portion of the lake in wolfeboro ) was iced in as far as one could see. Does anyone know if this area is still frozen?

open water
From what I've seen pretty much all of the lake is open water. The wind took out almost all the ice that had formed. Paugus Bay has some ice but marginal at best with lots of open water showing.
Temps are forcast to be above freezing thru the W/E with highes in the 40's and rain for Sunday, with no really cold air forcast for a couple of weeks. But then again those doing the forcasting have about an 80% failure rate. Crap shoot....at best. |

Forecast
According to weather.com the 10 day shows temps not getting out of the 20's next week (after Sunday). No snow forecasted, so pray for calm clear nights and ice should form (albeit slowly). At least whatever remains after Sunday should not melt.

Come on.
With failure rate the forecasters have been having.
