Reading on my water temp probe dipped below 70 for the first time this AM. I expect we'll start seeing a steady decline this week now that the cool temps seem to be here to stay.
Though there is still a LOT of warm water out there. Water testing this week showed a very consistent ~70 degrees down to the thermocline (line between warmer and colder water), and the thermocline was as deep as we've seen it all year (~50'). This will start changing this week too as the cold water on the surface starts sinking. |
