Default Septic System Pumping

Please recommend septic pumping companies that come to the islands... in particular Rattlesnake Island. Also if you know approximate pricing.

Thanks

Default George Randall to the rescue..

George Randall will gladly assist you. He will arrange and transport the septic pump truck to your sight. The costs are not cheap as you know the offset to the benfits of island living! You basically pay for the pump service which could be around $200 to $250 today plus transportation by George which is probably about 2 to 3 hours of time port to port. If you can find some neighbors to have a group done at once, you could all share the costs of transportation by Geroge which would help with the costs. Good Luck!

As simple as it sounds make sure it is plugged in. Our pump electrical cord came just slightly loose and was not functioning. Our tank alarm was silenced so we did not know anything was wrong until we caught a wiff of it. You can also unplug the float switch and plug it in directly, you should be able to hear it run.

Try Winnipesaukee Marine Construction:

http://www.lakewinnicon.com/

They'll bring over the pickle wagon to do a pumpout.

They also install, so they have knowledge, if someone has a problem.

P.S.- Also, they are listed in this website's Lake Links.

Default Island Services

You could also try Buddy Long of Island Services in Meredith. I know they do this work, but not sure about on Rattlesnake Island. 279-4937

Default Help with the projects...

If you feel overwhelmed or need a helping hand, Lake Winni Island Property Management is in the area on a regular basis. They can be reached at 603-253-7091. They would be glad to offer assistance at reasonable prices, especially being locals and having worked on the island for past years. Remember to stop and take a break to enjoy the sunshine and lake!
