Anybody remember Libby "polio" benefits in the mid 50's
Posting this question for a friend who was a kid watching a parade going down the streets of Wolfeboro around the mid fifties, it was a parade held for he believes is Dickie Libby who had Polio and returned from a Boston Hospital. He remembers a photographer with a movie camera taking picture of him and his friends as they watch from the sidewalk of central street.
Anyone that could shed any more light on the subject it would be greatly appreciate. He said they use to show the movie at Carpenter on Friday afternoon assemblies.
