Default MSC CLUB RIDE SATURDAY FEB 22nd

Club Ride Saturday February 22nd

There will be another Club ride this Saturday. The forecast is for temperatures in the 40’s so it will be spring riding conditions. Present trail conditions are excellent and there is plenty of snow. We leave from The Village Kitchen at 8:00 am. Some join us for breakfast at 7:00. For this week’s ride we plan to take Corridor #15 to Meredith, and then out toward Newfound Lake before heading up to Wentworth for lunch at the Baker River Valley Snowmobile Clubhouse. The route of the return trip will be determined by trail conditions. Like last week, there is no need to be an advanced rider with the latest and greatest sled. Nor do you need to know how to navigate the trails; we do that for you. There is a great scenic overview of Newfound Lake so bring a camera. We plan to return to Moultonboro in the middle to late afternoon.
See you on Saturday, Eric Erving

First attachnent is a picture of last week’s ride taken from Mount Shaw. We had 16 sleds and a great time.

Second attacment is Trail Routes

It looks like another Great Ride!!!

Trail Marking
* (Blue) Trail from VK to Baker River Club House
* (Yellow) Possible loop back to Ashland-Meredith
* (White) Possible loop to Plymouth and Sandwich Notch.

Default Thinking about this weekend

What do you think the trails will be like come Sunday afternoon? I am considering coming up Friday night and just want the expert opinion on how the trails will handle this warmup!
Thanks

I honestly do not know at this point, there is a good base. Looking at the weather, we will go on a grooming hold until Sat Night. Then we will get the trails ready for the cold coming in.
