Default PWC Hoist

Anyone use either a cable/electric/hydraulic hoist to elevate their PWCs out of the water? I'm looking for options and trying to keep the cost below 1500. I have 2 skis and as is the norm constrained rocky shore line.

My aunt bought a new one, but it cost a lot more than your budget would allow for.

I'd look around for a used one: I assume craigslist might offer something.

Per Mr. V's suggestion, I found this lift on Craig's List. It's advertised as $1100 (NEW) for one lift but maybe bjd can work out a deal on a pair for a bit more than his $1500 limit, assuming he has some wiggle room on that number.

That's actually a pretty nice price for a new cantilever rack, worth looking at. Thanks for the reply.

Default 2 x 4's

Haven't had a PWC for several years, but when I did have one, I used a homemade skid/ramp made out of 2 X 4's and an old trailer winch. Not pretty, but functional. Cost unknown since it came with the PWC when I bought it, but had to be less than $100.
