Default Wolfeboro dock caution

I pulled into the Wolfeboro town docks, one up from the boat launch, around noon today and as I grabbed the post, I noticed an 8 to 10 inch bronze structural screw drilled into the post one down from me. It was placed about 18 to 24 inches above the water level so it was designed to inflict a nasty scratch/gouge on a docking boat. Hard to believe someone could be so nasty.

That happened at Glendale docks too. Need to be wary when using public docks.

If this was on one of the recently rebuilt docks, I'd prefer to believe that it was an accidental leftover of the rebuilding process.

No doubt this was intentional. The rebuilt docks are south of the gazebo.
