Default Grandfather Clock Repair?

Does anyone know of a local expert who will do onsite service/repair of a grandfather clock? We live in the Laconia/Meredith area, and our clock (not an antique) has finally given up the fight.

The business to which VB refers is run by Thomas Zimmerman. I had him repair an old (but not antique) octagonal school house clock 4 months ago. Did very good work at a reasonable price, but a long wait. Could have been my fault since I did not bug him. I am waiting for him to get back to me for an on site cleaning, etc. of a grandmother's clock which my grandfather made 46 years ago. His number is 476-2242. His business is on the left as you go down 109 towards Wolfeboro.

Yes, on the left- if you see Buckey's, you went too far!

We used MidCoast Clock (out of Maine) when our Herschede grandmother clock required repair. Obviously, not local, but he came promptly and did a nice job repairing/cleaning the clock in our home. We didn't have to wait and we didn't have to move the clock. Their number is: 888-329-0309. Family owned business. PM if you need further info. Good luck - love our clock

Default Old Clock Repair

There a guy on the side street next to VIP on Union Ave that does repair old clocks. We took an old 8 day clock in to him to get repaired. Unfortunately I don't have any more info than this for you.

Hope this helps,
Bill

'Spider' Osgood started this business and now his son runs it. Your clock will be in capable hands. Give him a call. I'm sure Ken will give you a reasonable estimate.

Those who knows the area, remembers 'Spider' at the Union Diner.
