Default Turkey Chicks

Well, this was a first for me. Yesterday I spotted a Turkey and as I watched it I was so pleased to see that there were 2 babies with it. They stayed very close to momma and they were very hard to see in the brush.

Only 2.... seems to be a common thread with those seeing them this year! Saw one hen with 1 and quite a few with none. The wet spring doomed them.

OMG It's funny that you said, "only two" because as I looked closer I can see a third chick. Can you?

Two weeks ago we were coming from Patrick's to the Weirs and had to stop for a turkey crossing the street with her brood. Didn't dalley but didn't hurry. She had a dozen chicks and they were soo little. I was thinking Thanksgiving.
