Default Opening Day?

So April 1st has come and gone and I haven't heard any stories from opening day fishing. Were people even able to put into the water? How about off the docks in Alton and Wolfeboro?

What's up

I will have the little bass boat in next week or so to putt around in the coves near Christmas Island. Last summer I caught my first smallie on May 1st with the water temp @50 degrees. From there it was crazy. I expect the late ice out will make the pre spawn a little later than normal.

As you can see there isn't much open water, but there are 2 boats visible. This picture was in our 4/2 newspaper showing opening day in Wolfeboro.

You are correct. One of the bodies were recovered off our shore. Let's be smart people, and not have the same thing happen again.
