Default Hat's Off to the hard core!!

The air temperature on Sunday afternoon was 36 degrees with a southwest breeze blowing about 20mph. We were driving along Paugus Bay on our way to the CVS store in Gilford and Mrs Breeze looks out her window and calls my attention to a boat around 18 feet with no canvas up HAMMERING down the bay at WOT! I was so cold in the car that I had my seat heaters on with the heat on full blast. I'm sure this hardcore boater enjoyed (probably) their last ride until Ice Out in the Spring. My hat is off to you! I'd never be able to brave the cold like that!

It's great to be young and dumb. Some time in youth with my friends we cruised with the top down, windows down and the heat blasting away, no matter the temperature. Not that the heat really was noticed. Then later in life the top never went down when the temperature was below 68. Possibly, just possibly, one may learn from the past.

How about the fisherman that brave the cold all winter to make a living. My hat's off to them, I could never do it.

I'll be out there tomorrow...closing down the house is dependent on time off from work, not warm temperatures!

21' Chapparal

Heading up tomorrow, sounds like the winds will be fine. Probably calling it a season after that.
