Default Another nice breakfast at AMES FARM!!

Had guests up and headed over to Ames Farm via boat today for breakfast. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It really is nice to see a place like this still operating the same way they did many years ago. Upon pulling up to the dock and walking into the restaurant I felt like the clocks had all been turned back in time. I hope this place never gets into the hands of a developer as there could certainly be many homes placed there and this place looks great just as it is. My hats off to the family that has owned this property and has not given into temptation of "cashing in"!! Keep up the good work.

P.S. There was ample boat docking!!

Default Facebook

They try to post on their Facebook page which docks are open for docking (they're numbered starting on the left as you approach the Farm from the water). They post little signs on the docks if they've been rented by a guest and unavailable for breakfast customers. It's also safe to say all of the family members involved are working hard to keep it just the way it is.

Default Shhhhh

Be quiet. The 'abutting neighbors' may have a thing about public docking.

Are they open all year? When are their docks shut down? We are coming back up in October and would like to go one morning.
