Default NASWA-Lobster Ravioli-Incredible

We just ate at the NASWA Beach Bar on Saturday and I had the lobster ravioli. It was different from the first time I had it a few years ago, but incredible none the less. There were four huge pieces of claw meat amidst 7-8 lobster stuffed raviolis in a delicious sauce. Here is the description from them menu.

Lilly's Homemade Ravioli, Roma Tomato, Cognac Cream Lobster Sauce.

In my opinion, this is the BEST lobster ravioli in the lakes region and perhaps beyond. (although I'm always willing to test out other suggestions

Then, you will have to try Lui Lui in West Lebanon, located next to the Power House Mall. You only get 4 raviolis, but they are 4 inches triangle (read "square" or huge), handmade with a tasty sauce. Oh and they cook with a wood fired oven too! I am not a lobster ravioli guru, but they are quite good!

Cate, did you eat at the restaurant upstairs or at the beach bar?

They were serving Blue Bistro food at the beach bar so I guess you can get both at the NazBar.

5-star review here for the Blue Bistro at the Naswa Resort.

My husband wanted to take a group by boat for dinner on Saturday evening, and had been told by a friend the food was great at the Blue Bistro. (And as Cate mentions above, it is also available to enjoy while on the beach.) I made a reservation for 6 of us to dine at 7 p.m.

We got there and the restaurant was relatively empty. We were seated quickly and the server was attentive. A few of us got starters. The clam chowder was not overly thick and had nice flavor, the salads were very good also. The meals were great! Two of us got the Veal Oscar, there were a couple of steak dinners ordered, one person had the meatloaf and one had baked stuffed haddock. All were delicious!

The dessert tray was looked so good that not one of us could say, "No thank you." The carrot cake was delicious, the chocolate truffle-thing was great and the coconut-rum-soaked cake was amazing!

Definitely worth a try!

Default lily's

as a side note ..Lily's Pasta Company is located in Everett Ma on main st.
they used to have a store front for walk in customers.
they make great stuff!!!!
they no longer have the storefront but will sell you the fresh made pasta if you walk in .
the company I work for helped them install some pasta making machines imported from Italy last year. we had to hoist the machines through a second story opening in the rear of the building and try to understand the mechanic from Italy who was assembling everything ..
