But .. it's true.

Default No, it's true.....

The date of the actual daily report is 4-30-07, BUT as you read below there is an update to the Sugarloaf Golf Club staying open until 10-21-07 and how Sugarloaf has received some snow this past Sat. night. Also, if you view the right hand side of the page, there are pictures dated showing the snow.

Yippee!!!!

We took our annual ride today through N. Conway to Rt. 2 then west to St. Johnsbury and south on I-93. Snow indeed was on Mt. Washington as well as several other peaks on this beautiful day. Color a little past peak up there but no matter. Actually, this am could see snow on the Mount viewing on Moultonborough Neck Road.

My eye saw the April date on the Daily chart, I read the Oct 21 mention below (but no year) so I thought (or didn't think) 2006. Pictures were nice but I saw heavy construction going on and thought date must be when it was posted not taken. Why build now when the snow is about to bury it? So I convinced myself that it was all last year's stuff.

Default Season's first snow depth chart

The National Weather Service has just started updating its snowfall maps again (which I provide links to, on www.blackcatnh.com/weather.) It would seem that winter is here, except NOAA's "upcoming hazards" map has the northeast circled for possible severe thunderstorms on Friday. Mix of seasons. Call it Autsumter.

I am not that anxious but the pic was definitely true. I am a skier but would rather take another month on the lake before the ski equipment comes out. It was cool but calm out there tonight as I brought one of the boats back from the island for the winter.

I was poking around on the web cams yesterday and saw the snow on the Mount Washington observation deck. Is there snow on the MV Mt. Washington?
