Magnetized drain plug wrench?
I read somewhere that someone had a magnetized drain plug wrench that they left attached to the trailer so it was always handy for plug removal after loading out.
I threw a small adjustable in the truck bed but would LOVE a wrench I could leave on the trailer for this purpose only... |

Why not just drill a hole through whatever wrench you want to use and bolt a good sized magnet to it?

I made a drain plug box end wrench out of 1/4" thick aluminum bar stock. I feed one of my transom tie down hooks through it so that when I remove the tie down, I remember to install the plug. Aluminum is nice because it does not rust and stain the gel coat.

Cool! Like to see a picture of that so I could infringe your patent!

Another other actual wrench would inevitably get "borrowed" from its spot and not be there when you need it. |
