Daydreaming about a house/condo/cabin near a lake

In a year or so I'm thinking about buying something on the north-east side of the lake, with easy access to Rt16 maybe as far as Ossipee. I'm very familiar with the Meredith/Gilford/Laconia area but not the other side. I'm assuming the COVID real estate bump will be settled out by then and other finances will settle out.

Any suggestions on associations to consider, places to stay away from, high priced areas versus mid-priced? Cell coverage, high speed internet. Small boat access to Winni or Ossipee?
