Winnipesaukee Image From Air
I fly over Winnipesaukee out of PWM on commerical aircraft way more often then I care to admit. Usually we pass over Winni in the early AM or late at night so not too often to get a good picture.
Here's an image from last Sunday. It's blurry because of the window I was at unfortunately as it was sunny and perfectly clear but gives a good size perspective. We were over 10k ft at this point. You can also see Mt Washington in the background but the hazy window ruined any chance of good shot. Even as we approached Portland from the ocean at 500 ft I could still see Mt Washington very easily. I was late to get out my camera but had clear shot of a snow covered NHMS as well. That was a missed opportunity.... |
