Default Good place to buy a long block from

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a long block from?

Someone a while back posted a place where I could get one for my boat for $999. It was a place in Maine - I can't find the post anywhere and lost the link!

Atlantic Engine Exchange. Stan is the man. 781-596-2496. A quality, warrantied, rea$onably priced, and, a delivered as advertised, long block.

Try Marshalls Machine shop in Maine, they will deliver it right to your front door. I have used them a few times.

Just make sure the engine they are selling you has the marine cam installed... not the automotive one!

I have used Marshall's as well with great success. I have had their marine 350 Chevy longblock in my old Chris for 7 seasons or so now- about 300 hours.
