Start: Second Sunday in March

End: First Sunday in November

Time: 2 am local time

... and don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors when you change the time on your clocks this weekend!

Don't forget the CO2 detectors at the same time and if they (Smoke & CO2 detectors) are 10 years old or over replace them.

I don't know if this is the "right thread" for this but it is about Halloween...

Kudos to the Alton Fire Department, Police Department, Parks & Recs Department, and the Alton PTSA for helping to put on a fun and safe event for the kids! We've always been impressed with the turn out in the center of town for Halloween and it seems to be in control, well-monitored.

What a great time for the little ones last night! THANK YOU!!!!
