Default Help finding an older Marine Patrol pix?

I wandered into the picture gallery here last night and enjoyed 100's of the posted photos. I had it going in slide-show mode and it was a lot of fun. There sure are some beautiful pictures that folks have posted over the years. I didn't see any way to search for photos though.

Maybe you might be able to help me? I very clearly remember seeing a photo years ago (early 2000's?) of a Marine Patrol boat, going from right to left in the picture, entirely out of the water while underway, after hitting a large wave on what is an obviously heavy weather day on the lake.

I "think" the location was in the Broads, must have been from an islander, possibly on Rattlesnake, as I seem to recall the angle was lightly downwards do the camera was higher than the boat.

Does anyone recall that specific picture and possibly know a way to get a copy (or screen shot)? There's just something about that particular photo... I'd love to be able to see it again, and to be able to stick it in my "cool photos" folder.

Any help appreciated.
Tnx

Sunset Bob has taken many many pictures that are in photopost and some are of the MP in rough weather.

Default Thanks, and I found this one

From Island Girl's impressive collection... Taken June 19, 2004

(Pretty sure this isn't the best way to link to a photo...)

This is probably the picture I was remembering. Although I seem to recall it being taken from slightly behind, and with the prop visible. (on the other hand, most days I don't recall what I ate for breakfast!!)

Thanks for digging those out too.

I have a lot of respect for the job they do, but also more than a little envy too.

My wife and family are tired of hearing me say: "What a job! They let you drive the boat AND they pay for the gas!"
