Installing Fuel Tank quantity float in tank
Hi,
I have a 253 gallon heating oil tank in my basement. The fuel level quantity gauge has finally quit working. It show empty when the tank is full. The sight gauge is part of a vent / sight gauge assembly. I have another threaded opening 8 inches behind the assembly. Can I just install a separate sight Gauge in that opening instead of replacing the entire vent/gauge assembly? Thank you, Frank |

Yes you can, just make sure the arm doesn't come in contact with anything. The tank is a 275... it is either a flat tank used mostly outdoors or a vertical. |
