Default Public service announcement - Glendale

Just to let everyone know there are public restrooms at the Glendale docks. No need to drain the lizard standing at the tree line at the upper parking lot, as I saw this evening.

Unless, of course, it's early or late in the season when the facilities are closed. The treeline looks pretty inviting at that point!

Now thats funny,,,

Last time I heard that phrase was in the 80's

Oh, and agreed, no need to display the equipment in public when taxpayers have generously paid for public facilities!

Probably the same guy I saw drain the pain off the back of his Harris toon - 300 feet off our dock this weekend.

Visible at 300 feet? Now, that's something to be proud of.

I've seen many more: last week included a woman and, later the same day, a "duo".

On this forum, I wrote here of an anchored, overnighting "visitor", 300' distant.

Unsnapping the cover from underneath, he finished his morning "toilet", including the brushing of teeth. A few hours after leaving, other "visitors" were dragging tubes carrying grandchildren across the surface there.

While it's good the lake is large and has a relatively short season, the sheer weight of "visitor-behavior" is overwhelming its allure.
