Shorter term rentals?
I grew up in Robert's Cove in the 70's & 80's... moved away in 1985. I've been back to visit many times. Monday I finally bought a boat (a 1978 O'Day 23). I'd like to spend some time on the lake with my kids this summer.
After calling around it seems I missed getting a slip or a mooring by a month or two. Can't valet as it's a sailboat. The boat exceeds the towing capacity of my van, so I'll have to rent something to bring it up and back (which means day trips are out). Any thoughts on how I can get a slip/mooring for a shorter period of time since it seems I missed getting a seasonal rental? |

Perhaps check with Thurston's Marine, I heard that they have a trailer park option where you can keep your boat on the trailer at their yard.
Then you can just use your van to launch and retrieve it and not have to tow it up and back for each use.

Fay's Boat Yard in Gilford may have transient moorings. Some of the resorts and condo's have slips available in combination with renting a unit.
