Default Let's play name the spider.....?

What kind of spider is this? I have never seen one like it around here before.
Sorry I left the picture in large format for clarity.
About the size of a half dollar, until it spreads it's legs out....

My guess is a "black and yelow Argiope" garden spider.

No idea what I am talking about, I googled it!

Black and yellow argiope. Argiope aurantia, black and yellow garden spider.

Garden spider? Weird. It was found inside on a door frame.
