Default 3 big Cusk on Meredith Barge

Senter Cover Guy and I recently dove a barge at 86 feet I found last year.

Filming was tough primarily due to my lighting but particulate in the water column again didn't help. This winter I am going to fix my filming problems.

One end of the barge had 3 big cusk side by side-they don't move, as I have found with all of the cusk I've encountered. There were 2 more on the other side.

For fishermen who want to catch cusk the Lat/Lon of the barge is:

43 38.917N
71 29.017W

Default Unique Barge

This is not your typical barge. DIVER1111 hand measured it at about 40 feet square. The "deck" of the barge was about 81 feet deep with the bottom 3-4 feet deeper. The boards on the deck were skinny in comparison to other barges. They appeared to be perhaps 3 inches wide and they were caulked, similar to the deck of The Lady of the Lake. The deck was solid. The boards could be oak, teak, maybe mahogany. The sides of the barge were painted white as seen in the video. There were 2 circular, rusted things on each of 2 ends. Perhaps these were openings where tow ropes or chains were attached.

After the dive, we talked with some people who were on the Meredith docks soaking up the sun that day. They asked what we dove on and offered this comment. One man said that he thought years ago that Meredith Bay offered band music and a dance floor on barges in the bay. Does anyone have any knowledge of such an event?
