Default Schooner Green?

While in Wolfeboro yesterday, we noticed that the old Joe Green's has new signage. It's now called Schooner Green.

Does anyone know if the place is under new management, or is it just a re-branding of the same old place?

Hopefully new management—like Town Docks, Joe Greene's was criminally mediocre but busy because of the location. Fingers crossed for good food AND a great view!

Agreed. That's why I asked. They have a wonderful location. But it hasn't been enough to make us go back after several attempts. Also hoping it's a change for the better.

Default different cours?

Same owner, it appears. I recall that Jo Greens name came from coffee and salads as the original focus. Recall "Jo Greens Garden Cafe". Over the years, the winter trade became more of a night club for locals, and has a loyal following. It appears from FB that "Schooner Greens Bayview Bistro" is an expansion of the upper deck (which I thought was partially closed in the summer) and perhaps a new menu and sense of direction. Expanding the upper deck may give them more capacity in the face of Covid 19 restrictions. There is certainly no place to put tables on the sidewalk. I've always enjoyed the place, as have my guests. Being fairly small, it's a pretty focused operation. If you're not in that niche, you're not in that niche. Different niche summer and winter?
