I am sad to report that Dave Thorpe has let me know that the Lee’s Mill Steamboat Meet has been cancelled for this year.
![]() Quote from Dave’s e-mail: “We all hope to be back to a reasonable degree of “normal” next year. We played around with shortening the meet to 3 days to avoid the weekend crowds and little by little realized it just was not going to be much fun if we followed all the rules. Also the Town officials had reservations so we pulled the plug.“ Last edited by Rattlesnake Gal; 08-23-2020 at 07:57 AM. Reason: Add information |

Too bad. We were hoping to be able to make the run to Lee's Mill. Always nice to see the steamboats on parade and hear the personalized steam whistling.

Bummer...always a big part of our September stay.
Hopefully it will be back next year. Meanwhile, restaurants are all open for inside dining. You'd think Moultonborough would recognize that this outside activity was comparatively low-low risk.
